2. Choose your Lesson Path Level II: Depression Awareness Determine whether you will utilize the full program version or the one-day version. Student Story Vignettes: Each lesson has an opportunity for your students to select which Level II student story they would like to learn more about, organized into 3 categories – signs & symptoms, help-seeking and coping strategies. 3 new teens in the videos, sharing their stories about their experiences with depression, help-seeking, and good mental health strategies. Increased opportunity for interactive, small group work

One Day Lesson Best practice is to use the full four-day lessons above. However, our research has demonstrated an increase in knowledge and help-seeking with only one day.

Evaluations & Reports Our pre/post-tests for programs are designed to capture a well-rounded perspective of school mental health efforts and the Erika’s Lighthouse classroom education’s role in supporting inclusive school cultures. Data collected can be accessed by schools and districts in the Data Center.
